Comment: This was a series of diagnostic runs to test both the trackage as well as a set of 4 cars. It has been 7 months since my last operational run. I had removed and then returned many of the turnouts since my last operational run.

The route passes through the following turnouts: 82, 81, 65, 64, 63, 62, 61, 31, 21, 2, 1 (a total of 11). These are the new numbers indicating mainline and district.

Run #1: speed 5. Caboose derails near turnout #81, rear wheels.

Run #2: speed 15. Box car 524270 derails near turnout #64, rear wheels.

Run #3: speed 10. OK.

Summary: This was my first diagnostic run to check both the trackage and the running cars. The track on Route #1 appears to be okay. All four cars are now operational. I am delighted with my progress so far.
