Daley Train Log
Page 30
This was my first set of diagnostic runs on the mainline track with a train consisting of 4 cars. The results were very encouraging. Once I replaced the wheels on the gondola car the train ran without any problems on route #1 (transcontinental west bound). Thus I can now say that the mainline track on route #1 is fine and the 4 cars (2 boxcars, 1 gondola, 1 caboose) are all operational (excellent running properties, coupler action).
The next step will be to run this same consist on the remaining mainline track (the area around Queenston, Prairie Dog, Pine Ridge including the three reversing loops at Black Diamond, The Channon and Jasper). I will also, slowly, add the number of cars that I can trust.
This session took about 2 hours.
