Thursday January 10, 2008 3:00 PM Lethbridge, Alberta

I made a quick trip to Model Baron to buy some foam roadbed, short pieces of track, a #55 drill bit, and a piece of piano wire for connecting my hand throws for the manual turnouts I hope to buy shortly.

I was hoping to buy a soldering gun as well but they don't stock that type of item. I did buy everything else I was looking for, but they didn't have any Atlas end barrier track pieces.

When I returned home I spent about half an hour adding the short 3" sections of track to some of the spur lines to bring them to the desired length. I then added the foam roadbed under those areas that needed it. Just another little improvement.

The drill bit and piano wire is in anticipation of buying some manual turnouts.
