Model Trains: I had two good sessions, one in the morning and the other in the afternoon. I first ran Train 200, the Black Zephyr unit coal train from Black Diamond to Coledale. Then in the afternoon I ended up running Train 101, the Super Continental passenger train, from Coaldale to Jasper and then the return train, Train 100, from Jasper to Coaldale. The later was a substantial change from the plan, but in the end I am pleased with the result.
I finished reading "The Illustrated Rumi" by Coleman Barks/Michael Green but will return to this again as it is a book to be savored.
I also have found time to continue reading Gogol's "Lost Souls". It it really quite funny - the underlying theme is too outrageous to not have some basis in fact.
Model Trains: I began another operational run for Train 700, the Distillery Row local freight. I formed the consist in the Jasper Yard and then performed a series of switching moves at Distillery Row and Prairie Dog, stopping at Pine Ridge. This session took almost 2 hours and was a delight.
