5:00 am
The temperature is +7 C, with a high predicted of +8 C.
From the Environment Canada website:
Rainfall warning in effect. Tonight Rain. Wind northeast 40 km/h gusting to 60. Low plus 5. Monday Rain. Wind northeast 30 km/h. High 8. Monday night Rain ending in the evening then cloudy with 60 percent chance of rain or drizzle. Wind northeast 30 km/h. Temperature steady near 6.. Normals Max: 18°C Min: 9°C
Today and tomorrow are still temperatures that are 10 degrees below normal. There has been a lot of rain and high winds to go with the lack of temperature, generally making for really miserable conditions.
4:00 PM
We tried to do a little birding but gave it up after 10 minutes. Wind, rain, and low temperatures made it impossible.
We did do some shopping and I bought a couple of cooking magazines. I may have to add another activity to my already too long list of activities that I montor.
8:00 PM Puzzles
I played a few games of go today on the iPad. I felt that I was playing a little bit better. The game level remained between 7 and 8 but I have not been able to reach level 9 yet.
Larry and I worked on a Wednesday-level NYT crossword on the iPad and finished it. Two heads are definitely better than one.
