The GTW caboose is now operational. (posted on the previous web page).

I mis-spoke. The caboose is not operational. The wheels bind (badly) going around curves. Even on a 22" curve the wheels rub against the stairs, preventing the caboose from even going around the curve.

I dropped into Model Baron hobby shop this morning and discussed this problem with the owner. He had not heard of this particular problem with a Walthers kit, but had heard of it as a general issue. He suggested I contact Walthers via email and see what they say. I will do that if I fail to find a solution while visiting the SuperTrain show in Calgary this weekend.
