I am feeling alert this morning, for the first time since the garage sale last Saturday. I think my batteries are fully recharged.
I continue to enjoy reading "Ahtahkakoop". This is the first book I have read that truly blends first person accounts with modern day narrative. This is not Disneyland but serious scholarly reporting. It is a criticism of our culture and our educational system that such a book is not better known. This is not a local history, nor is it a Native history. This is a superb accounting of a critical period in Canadian history.

I am back from a quick trip to the east side of the Oldman River to take a few photos of the coulee while it is still green from the rains of the last month. All images are taken from the east side of the coulee looking west. There are two pictures of University Hall and one of Fort Whoop-Up.
