It is -5 C with a high forecast of +2 C. Sunrise 7:56 Sunset 17:35 Hours of daylight: 9:39
The earlier estimate for Time machine completing all of the initial backup files was too high. It finished at 5 this morning.
There is a winter storm warning in effect for tomorrow. Our decision to drive to Edmonton today looks like a good one. Now to identify the books I will take with me:
The last book is another CBC Massey Lectures, this time for 2004. I bought a number of these books last year and it is time to begin reading them. The theme of this one is similar to the one I read a few days ago by Doris Lessing. I always like to have at least one non-fiction book with me. I am also going to take a book on Dreamweaver CS3 - this may be a good opportunity to learn a few new techniques.
However today will basically be a driving day.

We had a "summer driving conditions" all the way to Edmonton. Now to settle in for the weekend.
I have only bought one book so far. "Virginia Woolf: A Writer's Life" (2006) by Lyndall Gordon. (Original published in 1984).
