A. Morning Musings

The wind is picking up, but we are still thinking of walking to Tim Horton's for a coffee and BELT (Bacon, Egg, Lettuce and Tomato). This reminds me of the BLAT we had at Lennox Head (A = Avocado). We are still looking at how to install the fluorescent light fixture over our kitchen sink. We want to make sure that it provides adequate light before going ahead with the installation.

I would like to spend some time with my model train today. Also do a little watercoloring. These are the two items that I have let slide the last few days.

Learning Category Planned Activities for Today Time
Drawing Complete Jan 2 calendar watercolor activity 1 hr
Model Trains Clean mainline track; inspect for trouble spots,; program 6700 1 hr

B. Actual Learning Activities

6:50 PM

The walk to Tim Horton's was refreshing and we thoroughly enjoyed the BELT. Together, with 2 medium coffee, the total bill was just under $10. Great. I did find time for a little model trains and some reading of "The Tender Bar". But we also watched the last part of the gold medal junior hockey game between Canada and Sweden. Canada won it in overtime, after Sweden had tied the game with less than a minute to play in regulation.
