Wednesday September 26, 2007 6:30 am Lennox Head, NSW Australia

I now have dial-up Internet access!

A. Morning Musings

6:00 am

We are fully set up. The internet is working, although painfully slow when accessing the web with its numerous images. The barbeque is assembled and we used it to cook some chicken kebabs last night. The television in the unit has been replaced. Now to sit back and enjoy the view from the balcony.

But my voice is almost gone. The throat is still a bit sore, but when I tried to speak this morning my first sounds were just a faint squeek. Hopefully a couple of cups of coffee will loosen things up.

Immediate Description Time
Mathematics Read ch 4 - 5 of "Why Beauty is Truth: A History of Symmetry" by Ian Stewart 2 hr
Literature "Three Dollars" by Elliot Perlman 1 hr

C. Actual Learning Activities

9:00 am

I have assembled a few photos from the last week and made a new web site where our friends back home can see them. That is a much better solution than sending attachments, particularly when one is using a dial-up connection.

5:30 PM

Dinner.
