A. Morning Musings

6:30 am

My mornings do not have much musing. Let's try this again for a few minutes.

It is still dark at 6:30 am and the overnight lows are getting close to zero. But the air has a nice fresh feel to it. The coffee tastes good, I am making good progress with my pre-calculus activities, and I am near the end of the Thomas Covenant Chronicles.

We were in Calgary yesterday and I bought a new pair of hiking boots as well as 4 pads of Rhodia paper for my mathematics activities. While it is tempting to do a little math, my top priority is still to finish the Covenant trilogy.

Immediate Description Time
Literature Continue reading "The Second Chronicles of Thomas Covenant " by Stephen Donaldson 3 hr
Mathematics Complete exercises p. 45 - 46 from "The Mathematics Survival Kit" 1 hr

C. Actual Learning Activities

8:30 PM

I have completed reading the Thomas Covenant Chronicles. It is an amazing story, powerful but perhaps a bit overdone.
