A. Morning Musings

5:40 am

I have had a look at my plans for July and mapped out a table for the coming week:

July 15 - 21
Description
Start
End

Sorted by Start Date

Literature Continue "Pushkin: A Biography" by T. J. Binyon Jul 05
Technology Read more on XHTML and CSS: play with special features Jul 01
Technology Complete module 2 for a tutorial web site on using Dreamweaver 8 to create XHTML and CSS files Jul 02
Birds Engage in two bird watching activities. Jul 08

This leads to the table for today. At the moment my list is very simple: continue progress on my web site and continue reading Pushkin's biography. I expect to finish the latter this week, but the web site is likely to be ongoing for another month, perhaps two, as I delve more deeply into some of the topics. Yesterday was fascinating as I explored a great website on the use of color ( www.colorschemer.com/schemes/ ).

Immediate Description Time
Technology Continue creating a tutorial web site: general sequence 2 hr
Literature Continue reading "Pushkin: A Biography" by T. J. Binyon 2 hr

C. Actual Learning Activities

6:20 am

I am about to begin playing with some new ideas for my XHTML/CSS tutorial, emphasizing the various ways one can format a basic page using color and different font parameters.

7:50 PM

This has been another good day. My early morning activities with Dreamweaver was very productive and satisfying. Then I have spent over 2 hours reading the Pushkin biography. As a result I have just placed two orders for more books by both Pushkin and Gogol. Now to finish the biography before they arrive.
