Saturday July 14, 2007 5:15 am Lethbridge

It is +14 C with a high forecast of +35 C. Sunrise 5:39 Sunset 21:36 Hours of daylight: 15:57

A. Morning Musings

5:40 am

I have a fresh cuppa in hand. Now to give a few minutes thought to the day. The forecast is for another hot one. My identifiable activities for the day are much the same as yesterday: a couple of early morning hours spent developing a web site on XHTML/CSS and some prolonged reading of Pushkin's biography.

B. Plan

Immediate Description Time
Technology Continue creating a tutorial web site: general sequence 1 hr
Literature Continue reading "Pushkin: A Biography" by T. J. Binyon 1 hr

C. Actual Learning Activities

6:45 am

I have my coffee beside me. Now to have a look at my tutorial web site on XHTML and CSS.

8:45 PM

A good day. I put in a solid hour on both identified activities. The Pushkin biography is excellent, and I am now just past the half way mark.

I am continuing, as I expected, to have new thoughts on how best to structure a web site on authoring XHTML and CSS using Dreamweaver. At the moment I am giving more thought to focusing on providing a more in-depth description of how to format text and lists. The emphasis should be on the data components, and how to present them, rather than on the code for either XHTML or CSS, or on Dreamweaver.
