The RiboWest Conference 2012 will take place at the University of Lethbridge in southern Alberta, the so called Chinook region.

Travel:

• Driving:
  Highway 3 runs west to Crowsnest Pass and further to British Columbia and connects to highway 2 towards Calgary and Edmonton. To the east Highway 3 leads to Medicine Hat hitting trans-canada highway 1.
  Highway 4 runs south from Lethbridge towards US boarder where it connects to US highway 15 to Great Falls, Montana.
   
• Air Travel:
  Lethbridge County Airport allows for flights to and from Calgary, Edmonton and Medicine Hat.

Lethbridge is located in the praries of southern Alberta close to the national parks of the Rocky Mountains. Actually, you can see the Rockies form Lethbridge, and it is only a one hour drive to the stunning Waterton National Park. The beautiful Oldman River runs through Lethbridge; most of the river valley is parkland with developed trails. The University itself is located at the west side of the coulees with an amazing view into the Oldman valley.
