The following sentences are intended to help you practice your knowledge of clauses and sentence structure.
For each sentence:
- diagram the structure
- identify each clause as independent, dependent, or matrix
- He thinks that I don’t know what he thinks that I said.
- I wonder what she is going to say.
- I don’t know. Do I look like a lawyer?
- Did he do it, or did you do it?
- I don’t know and I don’t care.
- She told me but I forget what she said.
- Either you tell her or I will send her an email.
