After a week away Zooming at the TriangleSCI, I came back to having trouble with Zoom whenever I tried to use it for anything else.

I think the problem might have occurred at Triangle: we were working with a hybrid group and had a number of mics open. The result was a lot of feedback at the beginning of the week. I wonder if maybe that caused Zoom to shut things down.

After a lot of trial and error (mostly error) I finally found a very simple solution: it turned out that the Zoom Voice Engine was off in my settings>sound.

Turning Zoom Voice Engine (microphone) up solved the problem.
