Another brief foray into a bookstore. Only 3 books, 2 technical (the reason I went to the store) and one on poetry. The poetry book was a reprint of Walt Whitman's "Leaves of Grass".

This led to another new web site, on poetry. I think this site has potential to grow organically over the next few years.

The primary reason for the trip was to purchase a book on Adobe's GoLive web authoring software. Although I have been using Fusion for over 2 years, and it has made all of my web based courses and sites possible, I am curious about Adobe's product, in part becuase it is available on both PC and Mac. Also Adobe is a more substantial company than NetObjects. I have alsways been a bit concerned over the lack of support books for Fusion. I hope to begin playing with GoLive in the next week or two.

The two tech books were:

Adobe GoLive 5.0. Classroom in a Book. (2000). The official training workbook developed by the staff of Adobe.

The Non-Designer's Web Book. 2nd edition. (2000). by Robin Williams and John Tollett. This is a generic book on web authoring with many useful tips. It is time to compare what I have created over the lasat couple of years using Fusiion with the ideas in this book to see where I can make some improvements.
