Today was spent reading the next two chapters from Ancient Greece:

• Chap. 4 The Archaic Age
• Chap. 5 Oligarchy, Tyranny and Democracy.

Tomorrow will be devoted to making a few notes. This is becoming a pattern - some days are just for reading, others for note making. However the "reading" also consists of yellow highlighting important sections - this aids in the note making later as well as allowing me to speedily review previous chapters when I have the book in my hands.

Another part of the pattern is the degree to which I am maintaining at least an hour a day on this activity. Many days are 2 - 3 hours. It has been 3 weeks since I began and so far it is fair to say that I have learned a fair amount about both Ancient Greece and Japan.
