6:30 a.m. I begin this morning with an hour spent updating this web site for the last three days (we were in Edmonton). I also added two navigation arrows to each page to make it easier for other people browsing this
site to move through the pages. (Thanks to James MacDonald for the suggestion).
Now to do some reading from Ancient Greece. After making some notes, I will try another Greek play, this time by Sophocles.
I have completed reading the first 2 chapters, which covers prehistoric Europe as well as the early civilizations of Minoa on Crete and Mycenea on mainland Greece (about 1200BC). By about this time all of the
Mediteranean civilizations were in disarray owing to a combination of internal discord, marauding groups and natural calamities. Thus by about 1200 B.C. the entire area was entering an era known as the Dark Ages.
