A. Morning Musings

5:30 am It is +10 C at the moment. The forecast is for a high of + 15 C with showers late this morning.

My weight is down 2 to 187. Finally, I have a significant drop.

Once again the vanity cabinet remains my first priority. This is the beginning of a new month - a good time to review the previous month and make a few comments about the coming month.

The most striking aspect of September was the decline in Learning related activities. Within this drop was a substantial lowering of time spent on reading Literature (only 9 hours) and Mathematics (zero!). My two highest Learning activities were Bird Watching and Model Trains. I am also forgetting to take photos of the weather at noon each day.

I hope to bring both Literature and Mathematics up above 20 hours this month. Model Trains should also reach this level. Hopefully Bird Watching will at least be in double digits, in part due to the time required to update my North American data base. Of these the item with the most potential will be Mathematics which will have a totally new website.

C. Actual/Notes

2:30 PM The bathroom vanity is completely assembled and working. I am pleased with the result. The drawers all work smoothly and the two doors line up perfectly. It is very solid, which was the main goal. It still needs to be painted and the two doors need a little sanding so they fit but don't rub. After the paint is on, I will attach a toilet roll holder and a rubber pad to protect the door from the edge of the vanity. But the main task is now "officially" complete. Now to take a break. Tomorrow I will return to some Learning activities.
