Thursday September 07, 2006 7:15 am Fargo, North Dakota . Day 23 of our trip to Virginia. Sunrise 6:54 Sunset 19:55 Hours of daylight: 13:01
A. Morning Musings
7:15 am It is + 55 F (13 C) and clear. The forecast high here is + 80 F (27 C). Then the temperatures will drop by about 10 degrees for the remainder of the week. We both slept in this morning but we will be on the road shortly.
B. Plan
Drive from Fargo, North Dakota to Regina, Saskatchewan. This is estimated as a 10 hour drive. We will see how it goes and pull in early if we find we are getting tired.
C. Actual/Notes
5:00 PM We are now in Regina. This was another strong driving day - about 11 hours. But no difficulties. The traffic was very light and the weather perfect. We will stay here tomorrow and then drive home on Saturday.
Here are a few images of the day's drive in North Dakota:

There is a special feeling when one crosses the border and is back in one's own country - a pleasant feeling that one is very fortunate. Now to begin unwinding and relaxing. Tomorrow will be a rest day and the drive back to Lethbridge on Saturday will be an easy one.
I now need to have a look at my books and establish a few priorities. (but not until next week).
