1:15 PM We were up about 7:30 this morning and did our semi-regular hour walk. Then, after a quick coffee, we began looking at, and cleaning, the 5th wheel. We are now completely finished. Everything appears to be working and it is spotless. I checked the awning and it is in excellent shape (I was a bit worried that it might have developed milldew and rot in the last couple of years). I have put the hitch on the truck and am ready to pull the unit out in the morning and take it to the RV dealer for a complete overhall (new tires, pack the bearings, check the plumbing system, fill the propane tank, check that the hot water works, replace the battery, and check the stove, heater, and fridge).
I downloaded a software package called EazyDraw that looks like it will do an excellent job of drawing the various diagrams that I am going to need for my model train control panels. At the moment I have a free preview copy. I still have a bit of a learning curve in front of me before I make a decision to use it and pay for it.
