A. Morning Musings

6:20 am There is a light rain falling at the moment. This will be good for the flowers that have just been planted. We will likely still go out this morning and try to purchase a shrub of some kind for our front yard.

We are still getting settled in. The yard is almost finished. We still need to stain a couple of sections of the rear fence and I need to learn how to mortar up about 6 cement blocks where the opening to the garbage bags once was.

Tomorrow I will make a trip to Calgary to check on DCC equipment for my model train layout as well as visit the camera store and see about a telephoto extension.

Technology. I am still mulling over a few alternatives about how to best provide my web pages on a server. My current ISP has a limit of 10 mB which is far less than I will need if I continue to add images. One option is to no longer post to the web, but simply continue using my hard drive for personal use. Another option is to set up a web server on my own personal computer. I believe that this is part of OS X for the Mac.

8:30 am I have just completed ordering Robert Mckee's "Story: Substance, Structure, Style & Principles of Screenwriting" and "Godel's Proof" by Douglas Hofstadter. That is two more items completed for the May To Do list.
