A. Morning Musings

6:00 am The coffee is on and it is just beginning to get light outside. The Eastern Whipbird can be heard nearby, but we have yet to see it. Today is intended to be a relaxing, do-very-little kind of day.

B. Plan

Chores: none

C. Actual

6:50 am Two Eastern Yellow Robins are the first visitors of the day.

9:15 am A Kookaburra, a couple of Grey Fantails, and a Golden Whistler so far this morning. There are many sounds nearby, but I am very weak at identifying these.

2:30 PM We saw 3 Scarlet Honeyeaters in the Grabilia tree in front of the house. A White-browed Scrubwren in the bird bath and a Pied Butcherbird on the front grass. Also a Rufous Fantail, a Grey Fantail and a couple of Eastern Yellow Robins a bit earlier in the afternoon.

4:50 PM A Noisy Frierbird, a Golden Whistler, Red-browed Finches, Silvereyes, White-browed Scrubwrens, Grey Fantails, Rufous Fantail, Striated Thornbills made for an interesting couple of hours.
