A. Morning Musings

5:30 am I am torn between beginning immediately with some Mathematics and handling some technical details by scanning the covers of the 10 books I bought on Saturday. It makes better sense to begin the day with some maths, but I am opting for the scanning to simply get it out of the way so I can continue the week with a clean slate.

Chores: groceries, gas for car.

5:40 am I have begun scanning the covers of the 10 books.

7:05 am I have completed the scanning and inserting the images into the appropriate web page. This also involved setting up a new web site for Psychology. The data base has also been updated. It is a good feeling to have this completed. Now for a quiet coffee.

9:00 am Continue reading Peter Singer's "The President of Good & Evil" (chap 4). 10:00 am

12:30 PM Back from a shopping trip downtown. One more book - Teach Yourself Visually: Digital Photography. 2nd ed. This should round out the books I need to cover the basics of digital photography. Now for some lunch with crackers & cheese.

2:00 PM Began reading "Diary of a Nobody". I completed this about 2 hours later. Overall I was disappointed with this novel. I found it tedious and the humour failed to work in this day and age. 4:00 PM

8:00 PM Began reading "The Tattooed Girl". I immediately liked this novel. I have been wanting to read some of her books for a long time and it looks like I should have acted on this before now. 9:00 PM
