A. Morning Musings
5:00 am I have begun setting up the web pages for a new month. This is primarily a task of setting up a new monthly chronology page and updating the information from the last month. At the same time I am brewing coffee and downloading my images from yesterday's trip to O'Reilly's. It was a great trip. For me, the highlight was seeing a Regent Bowerbird. I bought a shirt to commemorate the event. We definitely saw a Yellow-throated Scrubwren as well as an Eastern Yellow Robin, a White-browed Scrubwren and a Lewin's Honeyeater. Crimson Rosellas and King Parrots were everywhere. We saw another bird that we think is either a Green Catbird or a Satin Bowerbird. I need to have a look at the photos to see if that will help us make a positive identification. We spent the entire day there and then stopped off for a pizza at Earth & Sea in Byron Bay on the way back.
I am going to go to Byron Bay this morning while a friend does a scuba dive. We should be back by about 10:30 am.
