A. Morning Musings
5:45 am Coffee in the morning is a good way for me to begin. The books I bought yesterday will be a challenge to complete. The two on Africa and Escher are very large (and heavy) but they both look to be worth the read. Escher in particular, as it is a nice bridge between art and mathematics.
B. Plan
Chores: groceries
Exercise: beach walk.
Technology: Begin learning to use new digital camera.
C. Actual
6:50 am I have just learned how to delete the images from the SD memory card in the camera. This is done from the camera rather than when using the PC connection. I also read that one should not use the lens hood with the flash. I noticed this last evening while taking pictures in the restaurant but didn't know what was causing the shadow. Finally, I think I have turned off the burst mode. I was getting 2 images yesterday while at Byron Bay - one TIFF and one JPEG.
1:30 PM We are back from a groceries and mall trip. I was fortunate to find a book on Photoshop Elements 4 that I bought to help me with that aspect of digital photography. Today is sunny and hot - incentive to stay indoors until later in the afternoon.
