A. Morning Musings

6:25 am The coffee is in the plunger, all's right with the world. Today will largely be devoted to "off screen activities. A cappuccino at Pelican 181, a chat at one of the camera shops about digital cameras, checking at the bookstore about a book that has been ordered, a check in the music store about CDs for The Seekers or Pete Seeger, a check at a car rental agency about insurance regulations and some groceries.

Now to check email, Web news and then to try printing out a couple of pages about cameras.

B. Plan

Chores: groceries.

Exercise: Exercise & Beach walk.

Mathematics: Notes for chap. 3 "Coincidences, Chaos, and All That Math Jazz".

Birds: Update pages for URLs for the images using dial-up connection

Technology: Review digital cameras (particularly Canon, Sony & Olympus) [camera shop]

Literature: Reading "And On the Seventh Day."

Food, Art, History and Drawing will not be active. 6:50 am

C. Actual

8:40 am I have completed making my notes for chapter 3 of "Coincidences, Chaos, and All That Math Jazz". My actual reading of this book is ahead of this - I am now on chapter 7. But it is a good approach. The early reading acts like an advance organizer and helps me appreciate some of the finer points of the passages when I am rereading the book and identifying important points. I also enjoy beginning the day with a positive activity.

Much of the day will be downtown and cameras and music will be at the top of the list. 8:50 am

3:15 PM Chores are completed. Everything accomplished. Now to sit back and do some reading of "And On the Seventh Day." 3:20 PM
