A. Morning Musings

6:10 am Australia Day. The cuppa tastes great. I am vaccillating between beginning work on my Birds web site or beginning with my Mathematics web site. I liked the mini-list I created yestersday that identifies potential tasks that could be completed by the end of the month. The list is two items shorter than yesterday. I have decided to begin reading "Who Moved My Blackberry?" as my next novel. It looks light and should be fun.

Technology

  • Update Birds web site for this visit to Australia.
  • Follow "Chapter 1 Getting Started with Stylus Studio" online documentation.

Other

  • Begin specific bird watching trips.
  • Go bird watching on lighthouse trail at Byron Bay.
  • Redo scanned History mind maps using Mind Genius.
  • Read "Dumbo feather, pass it on." Issue 7. 6:25 am

B. Plan

6:25 am Chores: None

Exercise: Tummy exercises & beach walk.

Technology: None

Birds: Begin revising Birds web site.

Literature: Begin reading "Who Moved My Blackberry?"

History: Make mind map for chapter 2 of Ideas.

Food, Mathematics, Art and Drawing will not be active. 6:40 am

C. Actual

6:40 am I will begin with an Internet connection, check email and news and upload the sites to bring the Literature and Journals sites up to date. 7:00 am

7:00 am Now to begin revising the Birds web site. This has also gone better than I expected. I have over a hundred web pages that require both a change to the format as well as the addition of "previous" and "next" links. The formatting has all been taken care of, but the addition of the links is slow and time-consuming. I also need to scan the covers of the bird books for the References page. Time for a break. 9:40 am

3:00 PM I have put a total of about 4 hours into revising the Birds web site. The formatting is complete, all of the links are in place and the birds added since our trip last May to Canberra have been added to the web site. All that remains is some serious web searching to find good URLs for the last 19 birds. 3:10 PM
