2:00 PM Life
We are home after a great 3 days in Calgary.
On the return trip we passed by the spot where the murders-suicide took place last week just north of Claresholm. There is a memorial already set up at the location along the highway and as we passed there was a man kneeling in front of it. The entire country is reeling from the senselessness of it all. Three young, innocent people dead, as well as the murderer. Another seriously injured, but fortunately alive. I am still numb from the tragedy. This is another graphic example of the evils of domestic abuse. When will men learn that this is totally unacceptable and when will society take steps to reduce it?
5:00 PM Literature
I have begun reading Michael Crichton's novel "Micro". I am now almost at the half-way point. It is turning out to be even more far-fetched than the James Bond novel.
Very disappointing.
The following is a new feature that I am testing.
