6:10 am Morning Musings

I have a day off from geocaching. That leaves Model Trains and Literature. This looks like a relaxing day. Our structure for holding bird feeders blew down yesterday, and about a dozen semi-trucks were blown off the highway, as well as the roof off a school in Nanton. But the wind has died down and it shouldn't take long to get the bird feeders back in action.

It is tempting to add a couple of items to the list for today but I will resist. I would like to finish reading "Infinite Jest" and I would like to complete creating the operating instructions for my model train layout. Then I will think about some new items such as Science (learning a little about molecular biology) and Puzzles (Go) as well as new activities for Literature (new novel) and Model Trains (learning to program my locomotives).

4:00 PM Model Trains

I have completed the train operations (and printed out the revised operating steps) for the period 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM. This is continuing to move ahead smoothly. 7 Trains (out of 10) have completed their runs.
