11:00 am Model Trains

As is often the case, an improvement in one area uncovers weaknesses in another. While writing out the details for operating my trains according to the timetable I realized that I needed to make a couple of changes to the routes in order to avoid having two trains occupy the same siding at the same time. I think I now have this under control but it will mean re-running the Ship It program. Not a problem.

2:00 PM Literature

While shopping at Costco I bought 3 books:

The latter two books are hard cover editions of a comic strip that appeared in the early 1990's.

6:00 PM Cooking

This is not a new recipe, but it is rare that I am able to barbeque a salmon this late in the year. I needed a flashlight in order to see if it was done. It was really dark out there (the flash on the camera makes it look like I could see what I was doing).
