4:00 PM Model Trains

I am continuing to play with various printing options for describing the operational steps that must be carried out in order to complete the train orders for moving a consist along a specified route. I think I have developed a concise notation but am now experiencing problems with a discrepancy between the display on my computer monitor and the results from the printer.

6:00 PM Cooking

We were pressed for time this evening, so I googled "chicken breast recipes" and quickly found the following recipe for Impossibly Easy Chicken Pot Pie. The title lived up to its name - it was a snap to make and tasted fine.

8:00 PM Literature

WallaceI am thoroughly enjoying "Infinite Jest". I am now about a third of the way into it and revelling in the style. This is a very passionate novel, written by a first-rate journalist. On the surface the book is about drug addiction, youth, tennis and education but deeper down it is about culture (particularly American, but also globally), media and entertainment.
