The goal for today was to search for 9 geocaches along highway 4 between Lethbridge and the US border at Coutts. The weather was perfect: sunny and windless. I left Lethbridge shortly before 9 in the morning and had my first find at 9:10.

Although I only had 9 cache locations loaded into my GPS unit, and after I had found all of these and was on my way home, I happened to recall noting another cache along the shore of Tyrrell Lake. I had my iPad2 with me and when I got to the turnoff to Tyrrell Lake I pulled over and used the iPad2 to find caches near me. Then I typed the coordinates into my GPS unit and soon had my 10th find for the day.
