11:00 am Geocaching

I went geocaching along the top of the coulee in south Lethbridge this morning. There were 4 caches near the Mountain View cemetery that had been created earlier this summer that I decided to search. I had little difficulty finding all of them.

This was my first find of the morning. It was only a short walk from where I parked the truck.

This was about 200 meters down a path that bordered the fence of the Mountain View cemetery.

• GC2XC99 - Mountain View III - CARL3

The route from the previous cache to this cache involved a choice of walking directly toward the cache which would involve a fairly steep descent and then a climb to the cache or one could continue hugging the top ridge of the coulee and go around the gulley. The latter was the wise choice and it was an easy walk to the cache location.

The title of this one describes the cache rather well. It was a relatively short walk from the previous cache.
