6:30 am Puzzles
I have reached the level of 10++ while playing the game of SmartGo on my iPad2. I easily won this game which will put me at level 11 when I next play.
I have been playing one game for each of the last 3 days, winning them all, and slowly moving back to the level I was at in July.
I think that I now need to begin studying from books as well as continuing to play games against the computer. "Lessons in the Fundamentals of Go" by Toshiro Kageyama is my first choice.
8:00 PM Life
The backyard activities are reaching a climax.
Today the gods smiled on us. An early morning phone call confirmed that someone would be over tomorrow morning to pick up the dirt in our lane.
We then went over to Burnco, a local landscaping company, and ordered 3 cubic stones of "Montana rainbow - 20 mm". These were delivered by 1o this morning. A nice change from our earlier efforts to get help with the moving of the dirt and the yard refuse.
By 11 am I had finished staining the patio fence. There is no stain left over. Great.
By 7:00 this evening, with both of us working on the pile of stones we had moved about 3/4 of the pile and it is beginning to look like 3 cubic yards will work out well.
One more good day tomorrow and we may be finished!
