One of the negative aspects of having ebooks is that it is easy to forget about them. They are not in a stack nearby. It has been a couple of weeks since I turned on the iPad2 but when I did I noticed that I had a few ebooks that I had downloaded when I first noticed them but had yet to begin reading. One that I had begun reading was James Gleick's "Information". Today I started chapter 3.

There are a couple of other negative features. If the author happens to sit down beside you at a conference it is difficult to get the book autographed.

A more serious negative feature is the future. What happens when the reader (i.e. the iPad2) is obsolete?
