11:00 am History
I have almost finished reading "Picturing the Land" while on the plane back to Calgary. This book is a superb blend of Canadian History and Canadian Art History. As such, it has provided me with an excellent review of both.
When I finish the book I will go back and update the two history tables that I began at the same time that I started reading this book.
8:00 PM
We are back in Lethbridge.
There was minimum disruption at the airport due to the strike of Air Canada personnel. We arrived in Calgary before noon and stopped off to buy a few flowers at a special greenhouse.
When we arrived in Lethbridge I checked the weather forecast and rain is likely for the next 5 days. The front lawn already looked like a hay field so I decided to mow it immediately. Now I can sit back and watch it grow.
