The temperature is +20 C, with a high predicted of +31 C. There is a high heat and humidity warning in effect.

We had breakfast in a village called Dunham. I had crepes with fruit and syrup. Delicious.

1:00 PM Geocaching

I tried for 2 caches in the area where we were photographing headstones in some cemeteries containing distant (dead) relatives. The first cache seemed to be missing but I made an entry for the second which was a quick find.

My global total is now 981 and my Quebec total is 14.

The hockey game begins in an hour.

We had a good day with the genealogy as we located two cemeteries, photographed another cemetery and visited a local museum/archives facility which specialized in genealogy records.

I finished reading the first three chapters of "Picturing the Land" while waiting under a tree (left side of the above photo).

I should have had both Paul Kane and Cornelius Krieghoff in my original list. I am familiar with both of them and their work, yet their names never occured to me when created the first list.
