We are back from Ottawa. The morning was spent at the Canadian War Museum. It was superb. The facility was very modern and the overall approach was truly a history of war in Canada as well as Canadian forces overseas in both a military and a peacekeeping role. I was impressed with the overall design and learned a lot.

We had lunch in a nearby small Vietnamese restaurant. The spring roll vermicelli noodle dish was delicious.

Driving back to Kingston we tried a little birding but soon gave it up due to the weather. We did see a Sandhill Crane while on the road and almost hit a deer on one of the back roads.
