The temperature is +15 C, with a high predicted of +17 C.
From the Environment Canada website:

The weather forecast for the few days remains terrible. Rain and cool temperatures.
At the moment the rain is holding off but the clouds/fog/mist have hidden the CN tower and most of the skyscrapers.
11:00 am Literature
There was a small private bookstore across the street from where we had a truly delicious chocolate croissant. I quickly bought 4 books.
- Scribble, Scribble, Scribble (2010) by Simon Schama.
- I have read his book on the French Revolution and thoroughly enjoyed it. This is a collection of essays on almost everything (a little like Mark Twain's autobiography) and should be good fun.
- One, Two, Three (2011) by David Berlinski.
- I have read his two previous books on calculus and algorithms and will now buy anything on mathematics by him. This also promises to be good fun.
- How to Write a Sentence and How to Read One. (2011) by Stanley Fish.
- I have always enjoyed a good sentence. I am curious to see what Fish has to say.
- The Penguin Book of Memoir (2011) by Camilla Gibb (Ed.).
- This is another book with the theme of personal writing.
11:30 am Geocaching
While meandering around west of Spadina in downtown Toronto I turned on my iPhone and tried the geocaching.com app. There was a cache about a block and a half away so I decided to see if I could make a quick find. Yes.
GC1QF1N The Shaw Street Cache
This brings my life-total to 966 while adding 1 to my total for Ontario.
3:00 PM
The clouds and fog have been low all day, but there has been no rain. The CN tower has disappeared as have the tops of all the skyscrapers. But it has been ideal for walking. Somedays one gets lucky.
