7:05 am Morning Musings
Home is good. Mmmm. So is the first sip of coffee.
The sun is just coming over the horizon to the east. Not a cloud in the sky. The sky is bright blue. All may not be right with the world, but it looks pretty good here at the moment.
Since we are home from our quick trip to the mountains a day early, I will treat today as a free opportunity to get caught up with a few chores. Three obvious ones involve technology: seeing if I can use the information from Parallels tech support to get my windows xp system running, updating this web site with some of the photos that I took on our trip, and reviewing a substantial number of comments and suggestions from one of my regular viewers.
I also want to update our birding observations with eBird. Basically there are 5 events to post: the sighting of the Barrow's Goldeneye near Snaring, the birds in the backyard of a local home, the sighting of a Stellar's Jay near the west gate of Jasper National Park (an Alberta sighting), the few birds we saw at Mt. Robson, and the birds we saw at Valemount. The latter two events were in BC. Then I need to update my personal Filemaker Pro birding database.
