I have just returned from the Model Baron hobby shop. My order from early May has arrived.

• 1 Walthers Instant Horizons Whistle Stop #949-710 $14.95

The coal loads work fine with the hopper cars that I have. This will make the movement of these cars more realistic as they will be either empty or full depending on where they travelling. The uncoupler tool appears to work. There is a bit of a technique to using it but that will come with practice.

The remaining task, cutting the scenery to size and attaching it to the pine barriers between scenes, will wait a bit before I tackle it.
