A. Morning Musings

7:20 am It is -3 C at the moment with a high of +2 C forecast.

Here are the news.

CBC Headline: US Army Completes Probe Into Canadian, US Soldiers' Deaths

This refers to the night of March 29, 2006 when the two soldiers were killed while in a battle with the Taliban. There has been some doubt as to whether they were killed by friendly fire. The actual results of the investigation will not be made public until the families of the soldiers have been briefed.

Canadian Headline: see above

Australian Headline: (from The Australian): Climate - The Peril We Face

This is the same item that was the lead item for the CBC site yesterday. I was surprised that it was not the lead item for Australia but I assume it was simply a matter of timing for the web site update.

My weight is up 1 to 188. I am not surprised, as I have been eating a fair amount and at the same time not walking. Now to nip this in the bud. I do not want this to get out of hand like it did a couple of weeks ago.
