Aids allowed: Maple, calculator
Useful information is provided at the back of this exam paper.
You can use Maple to solve the problems, but you must write down your complete solution in the booklet provided. It is not necessary to write down what you typed into Maple, but you should explain what you calculated and how you calculated it using normal mathematical notation. You need not write down the results of intermediate steps of a calculation if they are complicated. However, it may be helpful to the marker if you write down some of the simpler intermediate results.
Note that you have some choice in sections 2 and 3. Do not answer more than the required number of questions in these sections. Extra answers will not be marked.
