To facilitate student participation, three fellowships sponsored by the RNA Society and one fellowship sponsored by Sarstedt are available. Three students will receive CAD 250 each to cover registration fees, accommodation costs and to support travel expenses. These students will also have the opportunity to present their research in an oral presentation.

Application deadline: May 17^th 2012

The application should include:

• Abstract of research project to be presented at RiboWest
• Letter of support from the supervisor (sealed envelop or separate fax / email)
• Letter of the student explaining his interest in the RiboWest Conference
• Most recent transcript (inofficial version is sufficient)
• Filled Registration Form (leave Section 8: Registration Fee and Section 9: Payment blank)

Note: All students will receive notification on the status of their application before the early bird registration deadline. Thereby, unsuccessful applicants will have the opportunity to register for the RiboWest Conference with the lower early bird registration fees.
 If you have already registered for the conference, you can in addition apply for these fellowships and we will reimburse you for your fees if your application is successful. For other successful applicants, we will arrange registration and book accommodation and you will receive a cheque of the remaining sum for your travel expenses.
