I am graduating in December 2009 with a B.Sc. in Geography. Some of my more interesting courses have included Fluvial Geomorphology, Advanced GIS, Environmental Impacts, Geographical Data and Analysis and Seminar in Spatial Modelling. I have been working as a Research Assistant under Dr. Craig Coburn's guidance since May 2008. My main duties have been collecting and analyzing hyperspectral data using an ASD-Fr Spectroradiometer which is great for getting out of the office and getting a tan and not so great when you have to get in front of a computer and figure out what it all means (although there are also moments of euphoria in the data analysis). I have also sat as an Editor/Peer Reviewer on the Lethbridge Undergraduate Research Journal

(LURJ) since July 2007. I plan on continuing my education at the U of L in January 2010 in the Remote Sensing field as a graduate student.

Some highlights of my undergrad career include the opportunity to present research at the Canadian Remote Sensing Society (CRSS) conference in Lethbridge and getting hands on research experience. My position as a student researcher has been partially funded by NSERC via the USRA. I feel fortunate to be working closely with my professors in an interesting and challenging field. Of course the most integral component to my successes have been my family - my wife Allison, daughter Noelle (who is 4), and son Luc (who is 2).
