Burgonet

This Burgonet was made by Aidan in December of 2009, part of his 16th-century repertoire. The blackening was done in a fire with linseed oil, which gives a very rich, deep reddish-black colour. The camera has unfortunately picked up quite a bit of dust and ash from the fire; the pictures really don't do the helm justice!
