PLANNING
It has been awhile since I went geocaching in the Crowsnest Pass so I began setting up a plan to do this. But as soon as I started I realized that 5 new caches had recently appeared and that 4 of them had not yet been found. That added a little extra interest in the trip as I was not sure that I would be the First to Find these with so many local geocachers much closer to the cache areas. I ended up with a plan for 11 searches and at the end of the day I had found them all.
OUTCOME
10:45 am. This was my 7th search of the day. I had passed by this cache on previous trips as it seemed to be giving searchers a lot of difficulty and I was waiting for an indication that it was still there before giving it a try. The GPS put the location at a shrub in front of the Gazebo. With no leaves on the branches it only took a minute to convince myself the container was not on the branches. I then put my fingers among the leaves at the base and immediately found the container. Here is my posting to this geocaching.com website:
Go figure. Sometimes I spend an hour looking for a cache, sometimes it is immediate. This was one of the latter cases. SL. TFTC. Here are 2 photos:

I am now 7/7 for today.
