GC2HRPT On the Road Again Series #1 N 49° 38.370 W 114° 41.657Difficulty 1; Terrain 1; size regular; Creator: Keamiaki Trackers Date First Hidden: 11/04/2010 Date Last Found: FTF Crowsnest PassDescription We spend a lot of time driving along this highway heading to the in-laws. We have 2 small kids and enjoy doing the stop and grab caches along the way. This way we don't have to keep getting the kids in and out of the vehicle. So we decided to do a little series for those people who enjoy quick, easy caches. Each cache in the series is located at an obvious pullout. So, if the kids are sleeping you won't have to wake them up to find your cache. Or, if the kids need to get out for a stretch, they can do that too. Hope you enjoy!

PLANNING
It has been awhile since I went geocaching in the Crowsnest Pass so I began setting up a plan to do this. But as soon as I started I realized that 5 new caches had recently appeared and that 4 of them had not yet been found. That added a little extra interest in the trip as I was not sure that I would be the First to Find these with so many local geocachers much closer to the cache areas. I ended up with a plan for 11 searches and at the end of the day I had found them all.
OUTCOME
9:40 am. This was my second search of the day. This gave me more trouble than it should. I focused on a few "likely" spots and kept missing the spot where it was hidden. I was also having trouble with my GPS bouncing making it difficult to zero in on a particular location. Fortunately it was an easy hide and I eventually found it. Here is my posting to this geocaching.com website:
9:40 am FTF This was my second FTF of the morning. This looks like a very nice series for those of us driving through the Pass. TNLNSL. TFTC. Here are 2 photos:
